Captain's Log: Day 6

Life has been INSANE this past month. To the point where I've actually only been home for six (yes, six) days since the start of the month of April. But it's been super great. I have started a few entries as I could, so I will absolutely finish those babies up here in the next couple days because what kind of blog writer would I be if I actually am not writing blog entries?!
So for now, let's recap the past couple of weeks.
The Middle and Youngest Children and I spent the first week in Colorado for Easter/Spring break. I opted to not write while we were there because it was for vacation and family time, but I will definitely write a post about it now that we're back. Then, I had the opportunity to attend the Kids' Chance National Conference in San Diego, which I will also write about shortly because Kids' Chance is awesome and you never know who will read this and go, hey, I know someone who would benefit from that! Stay tuned for that! THEN the Middle and Youngest Children and I did a whirlwind trip to Oregon for my niece's First Communion, followed by a next day turn around for the Middle Child's Confirmation later that day. We were very holy this past weekend, and super tired this week. The fun also continues next week when I say peace out to my fibroid infested uterus and heavy periods. Am I nervous? Yes. Am I glad to not have a period anymore? Yes. Is the thing that I'm looking forward to most the fact that my job will be to spend as much time resting and relaxing over the next few weeks as I possibly can?! Absolutely, yes. But for now, I am still alive and writing and will catch up ASAP!
Weather: Unsettled and rainy
